I Would Highly Recommend This Volleyball Set

After receiving the MD Sports Professional Volleyball Set I was not expecting much out of it at all. I previously had a volleyball net set up in my back yard for my kids. I ended up having to replace the poles and ropes within the first few weeks, because they just would not hold up to any use. The net finally fail apart due to the exposure to the outside elements within the first two summers. But this MD Sports Professional Volleyball set is defiantly more on the professional side of things. I could tell how well made this volleyball set was as soon as I unboxed it. The aluminum poles do not go into the ground, they set on top of whatever surface you may have by the way of flat round feet and the heavy duty metal stakes go in the ground and hold everything down with a thick polypropylene rope all ready set up and ready to go. The poles have a crank system affixed to them, to make it easy to crank on the handle and tighten everything up and they can be set at ninety seven or eighty eight inches high. The net itself is three feet high by thirty two feet long and extremely well made and looks like it will not have any problems holding up over the years. The set even comes with a flat rope so you can mark the outside boundary of the court at thirty feet wide by sixty feet long if you have the space for it, or you can go with whatever your yard permits. It comes with a volleyball and small hand pump. I would highly recommend this volleyball set if you're in the market for one.

I received the MD Sports Professional Volleyball Set and love it. Every piece of equipment is top notch and made to last. Set up was pretty easy with instructions, I do recommend that two people help eachother in assembling the net and boundary lines. I love that they supply you with an air pump (hand) in order to fill the ball (which is included but not inflated). I didn't own one so it would have taken some time to eventually fill it, but now I can make sure the ball is maintained. The kids played outside for hours and loved their new equipment, I am very pleased.
Fun - Exercise - Memories

Not too sure how much better it gets. The great outdoors, fresh air, family/friends, exercise, laughter, and perhaps some photo's for future memories. The only con I have for this product that is not a deal breaker: it does not come with a carry/storage bag. I live in KY and it does get cold, snow, ice at times in the winter months. This product is one that I will take down come winter and store until Spring. Also, there is times I may want to take this on camping trips. For me, it really isn't a deal breaker. Most all the parts will fit into a plastic tote or even a box. The only lengthy items is of course, the poles. I also state this in case you want to save the box it is shipped in. It will easily fit right back into the box for storage. It comes with everything stated in the description details and you can see my images of the items. It has a very good Assembly Instructions booklet. The step by step instructions display complete diagrams, easy to follow (even relays some setup tips). As stated in the booklet 'this is not a child's toy, adult supervision is required'. Also as displayed in the booklet that pets and children should not be in the area whilst assembling. Product appears to be of great quality. Don't forget, it also comes with the volleyball with included pump!
Summer is coming and this is a must for outdoors.

It is durable, but I wouldn't leave the net outside all winter. Even the most durable nets can rot over time in very extreme weather. This set should have everything you need to play that fun backyard Barbecues game or a more serious game. The kit has sturdy poles with strong steel stakes and a boundary rope. It also has a pump to inflate the good quality volleyball. Serious volleyball players always bring a backup ball to the beach. The net is a good quality and easy to set up with an extra hand.It's a good way to get the children outdoors anytime of the year, not just during the summer at the beach.It has everything you need in one set that is easy to take to the beach or on vacation with you to set up at your rental house which is what we did. It was so much fun to go out in the back yard and play with all the family we had visiting and it was no trouble to pack and take as everything fits in the bag. The net was sturdy and stayed up during play and was a snap to put up. We anchored it with the spikes provided and it stayed put the entire night. Ball is sufficient for play and it's a great gift for a family too

This complete set is made up of quality partsfrom the ball to the tensioning handles to the material the net is made of.The set includes a really nice leathery skin volleyball, tough aluminumpoles unlike some I have seen which have flimsy skinny poles. The nylon guideropes with tension clips, a sturdy carabiner and heavy duty stakes to keepthe poles up right, an air pump with needle stowed in the top of the pumpwhich took 95 pumps to air up the ball, metal tension adjuster handles whichfit perfect into tension real to tighten up the net, 1.4' wide heavy dutynylon webbing with 4 stakes to set the boundary of the volleyball court andeven includes a spool for boundary line when you are finished. The poleshave end caps, eyebolts already preinstalled and poles have push buttonsto set the height. The directions have plenty of pictures and fewexplanations but describe the easy setup of this professional volleyballset. I have only had this set a few days and we have had continued rainhere in the south and even with the rain stopped the ground is soaked soI was not able to set it up as of yet but do look forward to having my4 daughters and 11 grand kids play some volleyball with this great set.

The net was at good quality for the price. Was able to get the net very taunt. I used mine on turf. The net poles are free standing held by the guy ropes. The extras are cheep add-ons.

i really like this set and want to give it 5 stars but i cant because it does come with some issues. It is a quality set. The poles are aluminum and have 2 settings: men's height at 8ft and women's at 7ft 4in. I do feel like because the poles are aluminum and not steel they should be a bit thicker. They have held up fine so far but they do not give me confidence that they will hold up for a very long time. Whether they actually hold up has yet to be determined. The are rubber caps that cover the top. This helps to protect the ball from getting damaged if it ever hit the top of the poles. It does not come with plastic feet as shown in the assembly manual but thats not a problem. The net is sturdy and as advertised has 3in tape top and bottom with reinforced stitching in the corners. Would be better to have a triangular piece sewed in at corners for more reinforcement. There are some minor alignment issues w the netting when the net was sewed together but that is more cosmetic and does not affect function. The guy lines are great and measure 1.25in wide and even has the center mark on side lines to align w the net. The tension ropes for the poles are very big and sturdy. It attaches to the poles at the top using a strong steel carabiners. The top tension cord that goes along the top of the net is a nice touch not seen in other backyard sets. The cord attaches to a cranking system that tightens and keeps tension at the top. I have played on 0 sets that dont have this and the net sags quite a bit in the middle. I would have liked to see a larger diameter cord being used as the one that came with the set is quite small. It comes with a decent ball. I was surprised at how good the ball is. It is a bit heavier than an indoor ball which is probably so it doesnt get affected by the wind as much when playing outdoors. Feel is good. Much better than a lot of balls from other sets. My biggest disappointment with this thing is the packaging. As others have also experienced damage during shipment, i received my poles slightly dented so i was luckier than others. My set was still usable. I am also disappointed that a 0 volleyball set doesnt come with a carrying case. I have seem sets at 1/3 the price come with carrying cases. This makes the whole set very inconvenient to take places. If the packaging was better and if there was a carrying case that came with i would definitely hands down give this 5 stars even if it did not come with a ball. This set is as good as some sets 2 to 3 times the price. It even has the cranking feature for top tension rope that makes it better than most sets. Highly recommend but hope you do not receive damaged goods.

Pros- sturdy construction (all the parts) -The ratcheting crank system to tighten net is great! -East to set up -Looks really good.Cons- the ball that is included is very hard and stings the hands (need to upgrade to a decent ball.) -A carrying bag of some type would be super helpful for stoing when not in use.Over all for the money it's probably the best thing out there! If your doubting just go ahead and buy it, you will be glad you did!

These are outstanding! I've played beach, sand, grass and even (yes) mud volleyball for over 30 years. These net systems are every bit the equal of Park and Sun's Spectrum. I was able to get the net just as tight and playable. The winches are a nice addition that is supposed to make the top of the net tight and it works, although I'm able to do it on other systems just as well without the little winches. I may take them off so that I can telescope the poles into one another for storage. The net itself is well-stitched and should be quite durable and long lasting, although I haven't had the benefit of several years to be certain. The guy ropes are 5/16" nylon with nice padded pull tensioners. The boundary lines are nylon flat webbing--nice!My volleyball teams are using these for training during Covid restrictions. I will also use them in my PE classes if we are ever able to attend in person again. If you are looking for a net that is good quality, do yourself a favor and spend a few dollars more for this one. I got both for 0 each plus shipping. Tough to beat!

I love it. The poles and nice and strong, and easy to set it up. I only wanted to know that the poles has not ajustables holes to vary the high sizes ( woman, man, kids ) it is only one size poles. I would liked to be inform about that. Other than that, its perfect !
