Details and Condition:
Shan Jumbupati Bronze Buddha placed on an exquisitely decorated lotus throne is sitting in Maravijaya Mudra posture. The robe is billowing mysteriously, suggesting the spiritual power emanating from the Buddha .His elongated earlobes reflect his royal origins. The tall crown. ornate side flanges, chest ornament and epaulets are in the style of the old Arakan Kingdom that became part of Burma in 18th Century. Some of the tines on the crown and head ornamentation have broken off which occurs on about 80% on the genuine ones.
